Inbound enquiry triage
Every enquiry answered, none of them sent by a robot
The enquiries get separated from the noise and the reply is drafted and waiting before you open your inbox. You read it, change what you want, and press send — the way you would have anyway, minus the blank page.
Proof
Triaging dooco's own inbound enquiries
Running on dooco's own operations since July 2026
Every enquiry that reaches dooco — through the form on this site or straight to the inbox — goes through this automation, and nothing it drafts has ever gone out without a person reading it first. It's the same automation described here, doing the same job, on the business you're currently reading about.
No client has bought this one yet — which is why you're reading about dooco's own business rather than someone else's numbers. It isn't a demo or a prototype either: it has been running on real work, with real people on the other end of it, since well before this page existed.
What it does
- Reads every new thread and sorts the genuine enquiries from newsletters, receipts, vendor pitches and automated notices
- Picks up submissions from your website's contact form — the ones that quietly bypass the inbox because they arrive from your own address
- Drafts a reply on the thread: greets them by name, answers what was actually asked, and offers one next step
- Leaves everything unread and labelled, so your inbox still shows you what needs your eyes and you can see what it has been through
- Comes back to a thread that went quiet — more than four working days after your reply, weekends not counted — with one short nudge
- Sticks to what's already published on your own site, and says you'll confirm anything it can't answer from there
What stays with you
Deliberate limits, not gaps.
- Sending. Every reply sits in your drafts until you've read it and pressed send — nothing goes out under your name unread
- Prices beyond the published one, availability, and any specific commitment: the draft says you'll confirm, rather than guessing on your behalf
- Deleting, archiving, marking read, marking as spam — it does none of these, ever, and never replies to a cold pitch
- A second chase. One nudge per thread, then it leaves that thread alone unless you tell it otherwise
- Anything out of the ordinary — a run of odd mail, a security notice — stops and waits for you rather than being handled
- Knowing who's actually in your pipeline: tracking stays wherever you keep it today
How it goes in
No new inbox, no new software to learn. It runs against the mailbox you already use — dooco's own runs on Gmail — and what it produces lands in your drafts folder, where you'd write the reply anyway. A couple of labels do its bookkeeping, so you can always see what it has looked at and what it hasn't.
It works from written instructions — which enquiries count, what your answers are, how you sound — built around the enquiries your business actually gets, so the drafts read like you rather than like a template. The first version is live in a few weeks. It doesn't learn on its own: when a draft comes out wrong, you tell us, and the instructions get corrected so the next one doesn't.
